AROUND THE HOUSE BAND TO PLAY AT THE PLUNGE
Our great friends from the Around The House band will be our lead act for the Polar Plunge. Around The House will entertain us with Irish Music for the 3rd Year. Thanks RTH!!!!

Polar Plunge Kick Off Meeting Date Set
A meeting will be held on Friday October 16, 2009 to begin prepartions with the schools for the 2010 Polar Plunge. This meeting is a chance to share ideas on how to maximize the revuenues for the event. New plungers will learn how the event works.
Date: 10/16/2009
Time: 7:00
Place: Knights/AOH Hall Middletown
Who: All Schools and Parishes who want to particpate for tuition reimbursement
Directions:
From North: Parkway S to Exit 117, take Route 36 toward Hazlet/Keansburg approximately 3 miles. Pass Drug Store, Liquor Store, PALMER AVE, Gas Station.....Hall is right after the gas station.
From South: I think Parkway to 117 is the most direct if you have never been here. You can also take Exit 114; Follow Laurel Ave to the end, make a right crossing over Route 35. Make a right on 36. Palmer is the next light down from Laurel.
From Route 35: Make the turn on Palmer Ave by Target. Follow to the end on Route 36 Make a right. Coming toward Middletown you will have to make the jug handle.

More Schools Taking The Plunge for 2010
The Plunge has been growing in leaps and bounds thanks to the participation of the PTA and efforts of the schools that the event was designed to benefit. Several more schools have joined the plunge for 2010. The currently participating schools are:

Time: Registration Friday January 8th 7 until 9 and Sunday January 10th 11 until 12:30
Place: Ichabod's Bar & Grill, Sea Bright NJ (map) (website)
Cost: $25 minimum donation. Participants are encouraged to obtain sponsors for the event.

Plunge A Success
The 2009 Plunge was a huge success. The total proceeds from the day was $57,000. All of the money was distributed to the schools for the benefit of the children.
